There was something similar in Toronto about 14 years ago – the human powered roller-coaster. It was designed by John from JetFuel Coffee and actually could be taken down and moved all over. The big difference was that more than one racer was on the track at a time.
I saw them race in a warehouse in North York one year and Fishbone played. I think Fishbone was back the following year, but the venue changed to Queen's Quay.
