Check it out. This bike has my name written all over it…
Someone sent me this rendering of an interesting concept bike, and except for the fact that it’s missing some pretty key components (like gears, a chain and pedals) I think it’s pretty cool. Being completely unique (not to mention nonfunctional), I am reasonably sure nobody would steal it. Unless of course they really fancy the bike and their name happens to be Andrea as well. Or aerdnA.
It does, however, remind me of Alexander Vinokourov’s now infamous “Alexander Vinokourov” jersey. Dude, what were you thinking? (I bet he hears that a lot)…
I have considered doing a CycleChick jersey, but would probably not festoon it with my likeness. And you can be darn sure it won’t be pink.
I'm all about the A bike! Very cool. Maybe it could be made rideable; like the "flintsone" bikes kids get? That would be the ultimate townie!!! All it would need would be a wine bottle rack.
